I don't recommend that, what I do advise to you is to supply the original game's iso and all official patches with a link towards the latest fan patches which are required for online play. The fan patches are constantly updating and are neccessary for compatibility with both T3A:Online and Gameranger. The fan-patches are required to run the game on modern computers (they include no-cd and other fixes by the way), just check out Good-Boi's post, that link has genuinely good instructions. I don't think Linux versions exist, but if you want to play it on Linux then this is useless because you'll need to do something with the game files (like run it in WINE or something).
