These systems have Windows 7 OA keys.We do not have a VL agreement for Windows 10 and our current Windows 7 systems are activated via KMS.We are using MDT to deploy Windows 7 and I am working on a Windows 10 deployment TS.I'm wondering if anyone has attempted to pull a Windows 7 key and activate it as part of a task sequence, and if this is the appropriate method (I.E. Use a powershell/WMI script to pull the OA key from the BIOS and activate it via a subsequent script)? A house that dirt built download rar.

You can the way the windows 10 activation works from what I've noticed is the following. This is my logic from doing a few OEM upgrades.Windows 10 downloads onto the machine.Setup checks if valid legal install.if check is valid copy processor and some other serial information from pc and submit to microsoft.Microsoft acknowledges and saves to database said key information.PC is now windows 10 valid and continues to install phase.I've done about 30 windows 10 OEM upgrades from pro,home,home premium etc all work this way. If you skip the downloaded setup.exe and go straight to a iso it will not activate at all. (Unless something changed that I didn't know about and I just continued in my current method).
