We want to be sure that our car is not going to catch fire due to this fuel pump leak, especially if it is a vehicle that should have been recalled and no one heeded that recall or they were not aware of the recall. Gas leak I cant locate but fills the car with very strong gas fumes and can also be spelled as you approach the vehicle (approx.5 yards away). This has been happening for a while and no one can find a leak but can smell the gas odor strong. I purchased a new gas cap at the beginning of this problem but that didn't help either.
