Submitted on Review title of RichardBest GPS for WPMy favourite GPS app and I've pretty much tried them all! Maps are clear and routes easy to follow. If you upgrade to the full version then you get all the features that you'd expect in a full GPS app for a comparatively low price. Routing is largely accurate and ETAs are realistic although it does seem to like routing down single track roads! The traffic is extremely accurate (it uses TomTom which is widely regarded as the best in class) and again inexpensive.
If traffic changes on the way you'll be offered to reroute if there is a quicker route. I have also used it abroad and it worked flawlesslyDownsides - interface needs improvement.
It does take about 4 button presses to load a presaved destination - other apps are more streamlined. It also can crash occasionally. You do have to pay the app and the TomTom traffic is £10 a year but it's really worth paying for. Submitted on Review title of RichardOnce you're used to the functionality, it's very good!I've used Sygic for years on Android with no complaints, the Windows 10 version is exceptionally fluid in use.Where there's been issues, it's been the Windows 10 mobile that's caused the problems, normally when Microsoft have done a major upgrade that needs the phone to reboot, but they don't inform you that you need to shut it down & switch it on again. I've lost my maps once, that was Microsoft at fault. Sygic have simplified the Navigation system, some previous functionality of versions has gone, & mores the pity, but it works well on a Lumia 640 running Windows 10 mobile.I'd suggest negative reviews are by those who don't read generally, let alone instructions, expect everything done for them, including having their bums wiped, & probably haven't worked out the restrictions caused finite internal memory of their handset, & are too mean to buy a decent size micro sd card(16Gb or higher) - technological freeloaders always blame the hardware or apps, not their feeble minds.

Submitted on 3/27/2017 Review title of HenryDoes Not WorkI should have stuck to trial before I ever paid for this junk. Turns out the information by this developer isn't truthful.
It only works if you're on wifi or tethered. I picked this up for my CF-31 Toughbook because it has a built in GPS that allows me to use maps with it the problem I'm having is they don't allow generic gps connection to this app so I had to use my phone as a hotspot for the gps on my Toughbook.I want it to work but it don't I like the layout, colors and 3d look. And might serve a Tom Tom user well but not pc.I do not recommend this to anyone until they truly make it work with generic gps cards and antennas. The accuracy is terrible as well. Sygic authors have NO FLIPPIN' IDEA how PCs function/operate. This has obviously been ported from an Android device to the PC world. If one can earn kudos for doing a lousy job of porting give the team a Blue Ribbon. App is super non-intuitive and lacks settings menus, ability to modify existing routes, etc. The ONLY positive thing it did was to 'find' my USB GPS. We travel the country in a motorhome, use a laptop on the dashboard for navigation, need THE ENTIRE COUNTRY AS A SINGLE DOWNLOAD; what idiot thought loading one state map at a time is a good idea?
A suggestion: require the developer team to learn Microsoft's Streets & Trips and to use it in a vehicle for at least a week. If they do that they are likely to gain an appreciation for what an intuitive, flexible and robust mapping application should be. Of course, if they exhibit the all-too-common NIH syndrome nothing will change. Submitted on 7/2/2019 Review title of EricHorrible, Doesn't work, has trouble seeing internet. Can not save your route. Only loads last working route. No export, no import, no loading your own POIs. Can not rename any point port.
Can not load your own POIs. Can not rename anything. All points are just addresses. Favorites do NOT work at all. You can add them but nothing ever shows when trying to get a favorite. No help, horrible user interface.
Does not recognize GPS. When trying to load maps can't find the internet, but all other apps can. I wasted over 6 hours trying to get this to work, Just overall a horrible app. If I could give it a 0 rating I would.
Submitted on 3/26/2017 Review title of GeorgeNeeds better, much better searchThe search is terrible and the worst, so unhelpful, restrictive, ancient and non intuitive. Can't synchronize favorites with Google maps or bing maps. Won't allow purchase of lifetime navigation, tried north America but got an error, tried world, same thing. Really gave it three stars out of the anticipation that all the issues above will be improved soon but love the navigation itself though, it really. Possible the best.
